Categorization rules: create, edit, disable

What a rule is

A rule says: operations from this merchant, with this description, or with this MCC go to this category. That's how the app categorizes new operations without asking you again.

How rules appear

You rarely create rules by hand. They are made automatically when you press Confirm or change a category on a bank operation — your choice becomes a rule.

Review and edit

In the rules list you can review your rules, change the category a rule points to, or disable a rule that no longer fits.

Disabling a rule

Disabling a rule stops it from auto-categorizing new operations, but it keeps operations already sorted by it. Nothing in your history changes.
