When your hands are busy, dictating is faster than typing. Finn takes voice the same way he takes text — say what you spent and he records it.
Say it instead of typing
In the chat, tap the microphone button and speak: "coffee, ninety hryvnias". Finn transcribes the recording into the message field, then handles it exactly like a typed message — recognizing the amount, the category and the account.
Choose the language
Voice input listens in a fixed language rather than guessing. Pick it under Voice input language in Finn's settings — the same as the app, or Ukrainian, Russian or English — so recognition matches how you actually speak.
Good to know
The audio is used only to turn speech into text and isn't stored. If the microphone isn't available, you can always type instead. Voice recognitions count toward a monthly limit — see the article on free-plan limits.
