If you already keep records in a spreadsheet, you can bring them into Purple Wallet in one go from a CSV file. This is a feature of the web version.
Prepare the file
Make a CSV with one row per operation and these columns:
- date — when the operation happened;
- amount — the sum;
- type — income or expense;
- category — what it was for;
- description — an optional note.
Import the rows
Open the CSV Import screen and choose your file. The app shows a preview of the recognized rows so you can check that dates, amounts and categories were read correctly. When the preview looks right, confirm with Import.
Result
Each row becomes a transaction, and the balances and statistics update accordingly. Tip: categories that match your existing ones are linked automatically, so you usually don't have to set them by hand.
